most of his assets were from fucking previous games (SFA and Xmen CotA). VS series: Even if the game was a "new" division from street fighter.
Yet, they rehashed it during 2nd impact and third strike, but nobody cared because the game was fine and good (and it was basically called street fighter 3, update 2 and update 3, minimum updates, mainly on chars, moves and system, still the same base) SF3 was a whole different development (you can smell and taste it), so we're good there. SFA series: The models are the exact same during alpha 1, 2 and 3 (rehashing), they just tweaked the system a bit between each game, and added more chars (which probably were defined even from the frist game, but given throughout the three so that people wouldn't suspect) We all know the shit from SFII, SFII Turbo, SFII etc etc etc. The tendency i've seen from crapcom is that they develop a promising product (which wasnt the best version possible when it launched) and rehash it tons of times before they launch another really "decent" product (and by decent i mean one which you can at least see they put some time and effort in it). If Crapcom releases a shit product (aka investing the minimum possible resources on it) = Pretty much all consumers will buy the product (some will buy it out of nostalgia of old products, others will buy out of blind -and wrong assumptioning- positivism towards support for the company, in expectation of Crapcom delivering a better product in the future if they get more money)Īgain, that is wrong because they have money don't think they don't, just look at fucking Gilty going into crapcom's offices and tell me those offices look moneyless, just look at fraudbofiend getting fucking fatter the second he got his job at crapcom, he even had enough money to pay his rents/apt and his fucking gym later on, and this is money on the lowest level. If a shit company releases a shit product = some consumers may not buy the product because they know its shit, some will buy it out of some sort of weird positivism attitude. WHY? Because (you are kinda right on this one) it will pay off, because of the fucking capcom retard addicts. Hilariously enough, they indeed are on this recent "spend as minimum monetary resources as possible" strategy. That rationalization is wrong on so many levels:Ĭapcom HAS money (their fucking CEO owns a ton shitload of real estates and is a fucking fan of fucking wine cellars, you can tell the fucking company is not going bankrupt anytime soon (unless if thats a viable financial strategy for its board)Ģ.-Even if Capcom were about to be broke, remember that sony injected them tons of bison bucks like, 2 years ago? they are not starving to death.
I agree with the "profit is profit" part, they've been like this for ages and nobody seems to see/care, which is the reason why its wrong to buy any product (whether its full retail priced or on-sale price) that isn't even finished.Ĭapcom brand retarded consumers always rationalize this with the "you gotta give money to them to keep capcom alive so that they get more budget for doing better games in the future". Yes, most crapcom consumers are borderline retarded addicts (mainly because at one point they got in love with some franchises but that was because of other particular reasons). I see your conspiracy theory but it is not entirely right (not wrong tho, i will just try to fill in the gaps). Something similar happened with SF vs Tekken wink wink
This update will be free for anyone who already owns the game. Then they will turn around and use the "stolen" money from MvCI to create Super Street Fighter V. How ? They will release MvCI just like SFV. Injustass has already the Marvel side covered and sold really, really well. Instead of letting Street Fighter die, they will let Marvel vs Capcom die. It's more important than Marvel vs Capcom.
Well, one of capcoms most cherished IPs is Street Fighter. Why ? Because they have barely put money into the game - yes they may have expected more profit - but profit is profit. While the base game hasn't sold as many units as expected it was still a win for Capcom.
Most consumers (humans) are borderline retarded addicts. After the dizaster they call SFV, Capcom has figured something out.
